Sensei Dave Speight Promoted to Rokudan
Congratulations to Mr. Dave Speight who was promoted to Rokudan by the Judo Canada Grading board on November 17, 2013. Mr. Speight has been the Head Sensei of Port Coquitlam Judo Club for the past 39 years and is a member of the Judo BC grading board. In addition to coaching and grading, Mr. Speight is a regular instructor at Judo BC Kata clinics, a National Referee, and a National A Kata Judge. He has refereed at numerous Canadian Judo Championships as well as helped many Port Coquitlam individual and Kata athletes to the podium.
