2018 Youth Provincial Championships – Abbotsford, Saturday, February 10

The Abbotsford Judo Club & Judo BC cordially invites Judoka to participate in the 2018 Youth Provincial Judo Championships for U-14, U-16, U-18 Male and Female; U-21 Men and Women. U21 & Senior judoka are invited to participate in the 1st Judo BC Ne-Waza competition and U12 and under Judo BC members are invited to attend the free Petit Samurai event.

The Youth Provincials is a mandatory tournament for all U16, U18 & U21 athletes wanting to attend the 2018 Canadian Championships in Calgary in May. All athletes eligible for the 2018 BC Winter Games (born 2004 & 05) are encouraged to attend.

Date: Saturday, February 10, 2018
Location: Ag-Rec Building, Abbotsford Exhibition Park, 32470 Haida Drive, Abbotsford
Referee Meeting: 8:00 AM All referees & club coaches are encouraged to attend.
Head Referee: Graham Magnusson

Starting Time: 8:30 AM
Entry Fees: $50.00 entry fee per competitor $25.00 fee per competitor for an additional division.
Registration: All registration must be done online by clicking the registration link in the PDF file at the bottom of this post by Friday, Feb 2, 2018 at 11 PM

Payment: Online payment only*

Weigh-in: All weigh-ins at Tournament location, Friday weigh-in only! All Competitors must weigh in and must bring their 2017-18 Judo Canada card and picture ID to weigh in.

Friday February 9 5:30 – 8:00 PM Weigh – in for all divisions.

Eligibility: All contestants in this tournament must be members in good standing with Judo BC & Judo Canada. U14 & U16 Contestants must be of a minimum rank of Orange Belt all other Contestant must be a minimum rank of Green Belt Uniforms: All competitors must have a white Judogi. Blue Judogi are required for U16 & up. U14s fighting in U16 must have a Blue Judog
